Welcome to the Summer Edition of the AI4Life Newsletter! As we move into the second half of 2024, we're thrilled to bring you the latest news from the AI4Life community. From the projects selected during the 2nd Open Call to insightful interviews with team members and startups, this edition offers a glimpse into the current activities and future horizons of AI4Life.

Announcement

AI4Life's 2nd Open Call attracted 51 applications spanning various scientific fields. As in the previous year, the evaluation of projects was overseen by an international panel of reviewers.

Opportunity alert: Call for access to national facilities for data handling and analysis

The National Facility for Data Handling and Analysis at Human Technopole announces its 2024 call for bioimage analysis projects for researchers working at publicly-funded Italian institutions.

Second AI4Life Open Call: Announcement of selected projects

The 2nd AI4Life open call received 51 applications from diverse scientific disciplines. Out of these, 20 projects were selected for consultation, and 7 advanced to receive deep learning support from the AI4Life experts.
