The privacy and security of your personal information is very important to us. This privacy policy explains how and why your personal data is collected and used on AI4Life website. Our website is hosted under the eurobioimaging.eu domain and hence will comply with the data privacy policy of Euro-BioImaging ERIC.

What personal data do we collect and why

We collect basic personal data (for instance name, contact information and professional affiliation) supplied to us directly by you to provide you information that you have requested. Additionally we use Google analytics to monitor traffic on our web pages by using anonymised IP addresses. We use aggregated information as part of reporting our project outcome towards the European funding agency.

How do we collect personal data and where we store it

We collect personal data mostly through online forms (Google forms, zoom, survey monkey etc.), from where the data is saved into access controlled working space. The working space is accessible to project partners directly involved in the project. We also make use of Google analytics.

Use of cookies

Certain pages of the Euro-BioImaging Web Portal may issue your computer with small files called cookies. Cookies are used for the purposes of managing and improving the services of the Euro-BioImaging Web Portal. Cookies issued by the Euro-BioImaging Web Portal do not contain any personally indentifiable information. You may set your browser to either refuse cookies or warn you before accepting them. You can also prevent us from tracking you on the Web Portal by setting ‘Do not track’ in your browser. Our analytics have been configured to respect do-not-track requests.

Your IP address

Euro-BioImaging uses anonymized IP addresses for Google Analytics (see “Third parties” below). Euro-BioImaging may also collect full IP addresses in the Web Portal or server logs for security reasons, as a legitimate interest for instance for the purposes of detecting and preventing unauthorized system access.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. After each update, the new version will be published on the website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure that you are happy with the current version of this policy.
